Home Page | In the Spring of 2002 Bear's Bridge Theatre Company was born. Our aim is to take theatre to the community, thus enabling people who may not normally have access to live theatre to experience it’s magic. With this in mind we have travelled to various residential homes, performing our medley of entertainment. We have our own lighting and sound equipment, and are gathering a collection of props and costumes. Our members are from all walks of life and we welcome anyone who wishes to join us, regardless of ability or experience. We are unique in as much as we do not have any entrance exams or auditions. If somebody wants to perform, whether as a singer, actor or dancer, then why should they be denied that chance? All that is ever asked for is enthusiasm and commitment. |

The Bear's Bridge Award
| | Every month the Bear's Bridge Award trophy is presented to one member of the group who the management committee feel has excelled during the previous month. The award does not necessarily go to the best Actor or Actress, but to someone who has obviously made a lot of effort, this may be to help set up at the beginning of the evening, tidy at the end, learn all their lines well, remember where they are supposed to be on stage, or just general good behaviour. The Bear's Bridge Award for April 2006 goes to... Naomi Blom. | |
